Confirmation at Bumbuli

When children reach their teen years they go through a ceremony known as confirmation. It is believed by the church; a teen that goes through a confirmation ceremony is an adult and is responsible for their own decisions. In most churches the ceremony is conducted yearly and others after two years. participants singing during service

Mass population attend the event

Bumbuli Lutheran parish on 19th December 2010 last year had 260 participants in a confirmation ceremony who are between the ages of 12 and other 7 adults baptized. The participants must have a sponsor who is church member who has participated in their own conformation. Bishop Dr. Stephen Munga presides over the ceremony with the pastors aiding in the process.

Depending on the size of the confirmation class the ceremony took place at the parish grounds due to mass population. During sermon, Bishop Munga address, from now these members of the church have made a commitment to the church and will go on to live with faith.

However, Bishop Munga dedicated the Bumbuli Parish offices before confirmation services had began. The office will comprise with Pastors office, Accountant and small seminar room.
