174 Children Receive Confirmation at Bungu Parish after two years

Confirmands marching from pastors house to the ceremonial ground
Principal Dean Rev.Yohana Mmaka from the North Eastern Diocese headquarters Lushoto arrived at Bungu parish around 9:30am accompanied by six pastors from different parishes.The weather was cool with a mass gathering ready to start the confirmation service.
Rev. Yohana Mmaka led the ceremony aided by pastors representing Bishop Rev. Dr. Stephen I. Munga. Among 174 confirmands, three were adult to be baptized, two girls and one boy. Rev.Mmaka prayed for the sick and the multitude blessings.

Leading sermons Rev. Mmaka insisted people to have fear of God and not to believe in witchcrafts. Married couples should be faithful to their marriage and raise their children in good moral.

However he stresses on family planning, as advised by Bishop Rev. Dr. Munga that pastors should include family planning teaching to their  congregation  in order to raise awareness for people to have a number of children whom they can provide service including better life.

Moreover, confirmand in their speech they congratulated North Eastern Diocese leaders for efforts in opening education centers like Bangala Junior Seminary, Lwandai Secondary School, the newly deanery secondary schools to be established and Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University. Confirmands joined NED hand by contributing 174,000/=TZS.
